4 Folhas is a craft beer brewed in Rio de Janiero. The name translates to four leaves, or four leaf clover with the idea that the beer is a lucky charm. We felt that was too obvious and blatant to convey when developing the brandmark. Instead we focused on four unique characteristics of brand…the luck, the ingredients, the bottle and a piece of Rio.

The brand started with three flavors. The bold color-coded bottles, hand-drawn typography and illustrations captures the personality of the brewers and liveliness of the city.
